About the Studio

Pink Parade Studio is a woman-owned and operated small business in Austin, Texas.

Mission

Pink Parade Studio is on a maximalist mission to transform your space from boring and basic to cheeky and cheerful with unique art prints. We celebrate color, embrace individuality, and believe your space should feel as vibrant as you are.

Origin Story

Pink Parade Studio began as a quest to makeover the gloomy, grey interior of my rental home with unique and colorful decor. Frustrated by the flood of soulless AI-generated artwork available online, I decided to create my own by dusting off the illustration skills I honed in college, yet rarely use in my design career.

During the process, I tapped into parts of my imagination I thought I had lost to adulthood. The art that emerged was playful, nostalgic, and unapologetically expressive. My storm-cloud grey walls no longer felt suffocating, but comforting and cloaked in color and whimsy. Driven by a simple desire to share that warm, fuzzy feeling, I created Pink Parade Studio.

Artwork

My artwork is inspired by pop culture, the fantastical and surreal, and landscapes across the globe, often incorporating nostalgic, everyday objects and my love of animals. I digitally hand-draw every detail and carefully choose each color. The final pieces are then produced by an Austin-based printer using an archival method called giclée with premium paper and inks.

Meet the Owner

Howdy! My name is Sam, and I am an Austin-based artist with over a decade of professional experience in design and creative development. In 2026, I founded Pink Parade Studio after months of laying the groundwork in my spare time.

Originally from St. Louis, I moved to Austin in 2015, and although I kept the Midwest accent (ope), I have called Texas home ever since. I enjoy all things spooky, cupcakes, vintage knick-knacks, and trying every craft known to man.

I hold a BFA in Design and Photography from the University of Missouri (Mizzou).
